Eligibility Criteria for NEEPCO Apprenticeship for 2025-26
The details about the educational qualifications and age limits for NEEPCO Apprenticeship are discussed below:
Educational Qualifications
- Graduate Apprentice: Candidates with minimum 40% in BE or equivalent degree in Engineering/Technology from Statutory University or institution empowered by Parliament and completed not before 31st March 2024 are eligible for this post.
- Technician Apprentice: Candidates with 40% in Diploma in Engineering/Technology from State Council/Board, University, or recognised Institute and completed not before 31st March 2024 are eligible for this post.
- Graduate (General): Candidates with minimum 35% in B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. from a recognised university and completed not before 31st March 2024 are eligible for this post.
- Trade Apprentice: Candidates who have completed ITI in Electrician, Lineman and Plumber are eligible for respective posts.
Note: Along with the graduation/diploma/ITI marksheet and pass certificate, the relevant certificates of 10th, 12th and any one of the Aadhaar Card (compulsory)/PAN Card/Voter ID Card/Passport should be kept ready for document verification.

Note: Candidates who have already undergone such type of training/experience of one year or more are not eligible to undergo the training as per the Apprenticeship Act.

Stipend and Job Profile as an Apprentice in NEEPCO
Post-wise Stipend Details:
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): Rs. 18,000 per month for the 1-year apprenticeship duration under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Rs. 15,000 per month for the 1-year apprenticeship duration.
